freefem3d software package provides Language and solver for partial differential equations in 3D, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install freefem3d
freefem3d is installed in your system.
Make ensure the freefem3d package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep freefem3d *
You will get with freefem3d package name, version, architecture and description in a table
